WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT
Vintage Sex 2000 will aim to recreate the erotic images in both picture and video from the 40s and 50s. Through the use of authentic clothing and styling we hope to rekindle memories for some and bring a new insight for others.
Eroticism and sex were not invented in the year 2000, our parents, coming out of a world war were part of a pretty raunchy and wild age, the swinging 60s were yet to come but why wait?
Why 2000? Well, we want to put the clothing, the look and the sex into today’s background, using the technology of today we can recreate the look and the feel of the age.
The most important part of this process will be the girls, the dress, the undress, the attitude and the sex. This web site will be about the sexual side of the period, hence the name.
SCENARIO
Lots of girls lived with their parents in cramped and overcrowded conditions, sex was not possible at home. Factories, parks and empty buildings became the love nest, the alternative backdrop, the substitute for the bedroom. Love against a wall may be fun today but some remember when it was the only place, the quick snatched moments, the feel of the underclothing, big bras, fighting through the mysteries of petticoats, suspenders, tight fitting knickers, hair and ‘don’t ladder my nylons’.
The images of the period evoke a time of new found liberty, the true emancipation of the female had started, they were not ashamed of their bodies, they now instigated instead of responding.
KINSEY
